Dr. Jao would approach your painful condition with conventional Western diagnosis and treatment while incorporating Eastern treatment, allied health input, and relevant, up-to-date research. If all else has failed, we are happy to explore the option of medicinal cannabis. Our viewpoint is consistent with the Faculty of Pain Medicine in that the current evidence for non-cancerous pain is insufficient, and the potential harms are unpredictable. Many of the researches for medicinal cannabis are in small-scale case-control or cohort studies. Therefore, Dr. Jao would start your treatment in slow and gradual increments.

Medicinal cannabis is a highly regulated industry to ensure Australian consumer is free of heavy metals and pesticides. It is met with transparent ingredients and consistent compositions from bottle to bottle.

Dr Fang-Wei (Welson) Jao is also an authorized prescriber for Opioid replacement therapy, i.e Suboxone, methadone.
